SLS Logic Model

SLS Logic Model

A logic model is a visual and narrative summary which illustrates the alignment between a project's objectives, activities, and intended results. An effective logic model communicates the fundamental purpose of an initiative by revealing the underlying set of assumptions about how a project will achieve its stated aims. Logic models are used for strategic and program planning, effective communications, and evaluation planning, and are designed to be useful for all stakeholders in an initiative.

There are many ways to construct logic models. This logic model combines approaches from three principal sources (also see references in document): University of Wisconsin-Extension's Program Evaluation and Development Unit; W.K. Kellogg Foundation Logic Model Development Guide; and the Harvard Graduate School of Education's Harvard Family Research Project.
